There’s been battle royale between The New York Times’ crossword mastermind, Will Shortz, and blogger Boobs Radley over the perceived meaning of the word ‘illin’ that sent this week’s heated cultural dialogue into overdrive.
After Shortz used ‘illin” in last Saturday’s crossword puzzle to mean ‘whack’, Radley attacked him for his semantic incorrectness. Not one to be left from the debate, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert enlisted the services of Beastie Boy Mike D to settle, once and for all, the correct meaning of ‘illin’,’
